Thank You for Supporting
Iron Gate's 12th Annual
Cooking for a Cause
Another Cooking for a Cause is in the books and all we can say is THANK YOU! We’re so humbled and overwhelmed by all of the amazing people who made this event happen. From our all-star event chair, Cara Shimkus Hall, and her amazing committee of Melissa Minsall Paulsen, Kristin Klein Daffern, and Leslie Dieterlen, to all of our talented chefs who served up some tasty dishes, to our roster of volunteers
who kept the food and wine flowing.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to our partners at Tulsa People Magazine and Metro Appliances & More, and all of our patrons and sponsors, without whom we would not be able to pull off this incredible feast. One of the best things about this fundraiser is how much of the money raised goes directly to support Iron Gate’s mission of feeding the hungry and homeless of Tulsa. Thanks to the generosity of our partners and donors are costs are minimal. So the lion’s share of the $150,000 raised at Cooking for a Cause will immediately get turned into hot meals and fresh groceries for Tulsans who are battling food insecurity.
Thank you all and hope to see you at Cooking for a Cause 2019!
