Iron Gate has partnered with our friends at Living Kitchen to bring you this exclusive dining experience and help feed the hungry and homeless of Tulsa. Featuring a multi-course tasting menu, the dinner is limited to just 36 seats. So act now to secure your place.

The theme for the Iron Gate’s Living Kitchen dinner is Pecking, Grazing, Rooting:
June is a positively magical time in the garden, time to peck, graze, and root!

1st Course
Two snacks- Shiso “taco” -shiso leaf filled with a fine dice of scallion, watermelon radish, Tokyo turnip, lime, chopped toasted pecans, peach miso sauce. Sitting atop a tall  kimchi “pancake”- egg, kimchi, scallion, spinach.

Juice: celery, lime, ginger finished with soda water and salt- garnished with wood sorrel.

2nd Course
Sourdough blue corn grit flat bread- cauliflower humus, Ethiopian Kale
(the kale is cooked down with tomato and chili )

3rd Course
Roast sliced Kohlrabi, yogurt, lemon,  salt

4th Course
Sticky corn and polenta cake, smoked garden carrots, herb broth

5th Course
Strawberry-rose ice

6th Course
Braise escarole with pork liquor, crispy pork belly and rib confit

7th Course
Strawberry hand pie (lard crust) Hay ice cream, candied pecans, balsamic caramel.

Living Kitchen’s Farm to Table dinners are served on the screened-in back porch of the Oakley cabin. The dinners are a communal dining experience served at a common table. The ingredients for the dinner are grown, produced, or foraged on their farm or purchased from other local farms.

Your Ticket Includes:

  • Transportation to and from the Living Kitchen Farm in Depew, OK

  • Multi-course dinner, non-alcoholic beverages, and gratuity. Dinners are BYOB. Wine and beer recommendations are provided a few days before the dinner.

Every ticket purchased will provide 60 meals for our neighbors in need.
