Iron Gate depends on the compassion and generosity of our community. You are essential to our ability to feed the hungry and homeless of Tulsa every. There are several ways you can make a difference in the lives of our guests.
Iron Gate relies on the generosity of Tulsa. Support comes from individual donors, faith organizations, businesses, foundations and service organizations. There are many ways to give to Iron Gate:
Become a monthly donor by signing up for automatic monthly giving in any denomination you choose. Just $15 a month is enough to provide more than 50 hearty meals for Iron Gate guests.
Sponsor a day at Iron Gate by making a donation of $3,500. That’s the cost of our daily operations. You or your organization can also choose to come volunteer on the day you sponsored. CLICK HERE for more information.
Kid’s Packs Supplier - $2,300 Iron Gate has a special heart for kids battling food insecurity. We distribute more than 11,000 Kid’s packs a year. These quart-sized bags full of kid-friendly snacks are specifically reserved for our youngest guests. Every child who comes to the dining room receives one and we provide every parent who comes to the grocery pantry with a kid’s pack for every child in their household. As a kid’s pack supplier you would underwrite the cost of a months’ worth of kid’s packs. You will be recognized online, in our quarterly newsletter, and on social media and you will receive a card from one of the kids you impacted.
Coffee Break Sponsors - $1,000 Iron Gate guests love their coffee! You could underwrite the cost of coffee and tea for an entire month. Your name or your business name will be featured in the coffee corner and you will be recognized in our newsletter, online, and through social media.
Donate in honor of a loved one. Celebrate his/her life, birthday, or anniversary and we'll send them a card for you.
Donate your age to celebrate your birthday.
Gift a bequest through your estate planning.

Iron Gate could not serve our mission without the help of volunteers. Whether you or your group want to volunteer weekly, once a month, or even once in a while, there are a variety of volunteer opportunities in every part of our organization.

Host a Food Drive
Engage your family, work, faith group or other community organization to help feed our neighbors in need.
Iron Gate provides grocery assistance to struggling families three times a week. You can help provide groceries to a family who needs a little extra help to get through hard times.
Iron Gate is in need of protein, including peanut butter, protein-rich soups, dry or canned beans, as well as grains like rice, pasta and cereal.

Kids Helping Kids is a way youth can help the young guests of Iron Gate collecting food for Kids Packs or helping us pack them. A Kids Pack is a quart-sized pack of healthy kid-friendly snacks for each child that visits Iron Gate.
A Kids Packs contains a combination of five of the following items:
100% juice box
Protein bars, granola bars, Fig Newtons
Pudding cups or natural fruit cups (please include plastic spoon)
Packaged crackers (pretzels, goldfish, rice cakes)
Dried fruit, raisins
Please no nuts, peanut butter, candy, potato chips, or perishable items.
Conducting a focused food drive for our Grocery Pantry is a great, easy way to rally your friends, co-workers, book club, or church members to help feed the hungry of Tulsa.

Iron Gate Donation Policy
We accept donations of non-perishable foods that are not expired, perishable foods, hygiene items and new socks. Seasonal items include heavy coats and cold weather gear, blankets and sleeping bags, water bottles and sports drinks.
